Dow Jones Newswires reports that Qatar-based operator Qtel is looking to raise its 75 percent stake in Tunisiana, with Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Thani, chairman of Qtel, having met Beji Caid Essebsi, interim Prime Minister of Tunisia, to discuss a bilateral investment in the telecoms sector. Earlier this year, Qtel raised its stake in Tunisiana when partner Orascom Telecom Holding decided to exit the venture.
