Troubled voice-to-text conversion company SpinVox has been sold to a US competitor for barely half the money ploughed into the business in recent years. The Financial Times notes that Silicon Valley-based Nuance last week agreed to buy the business for US$102.5 million in cash and shares, crystalising heavy losses for many of the UK company’s shareholders.
