Nokia has launched two phones it hopes will further drive the uptake of mobile devices in developing countries, billing them as its "most affordable phones" ever. The Nokia 100 is the company’s cheapest colour display phone while the 101 (pictured) is a dual-SIM device which allows users to connect to two different mobile networks. Both phones feature Nokia Life Tools, for accessing local healthcare, education and agriculture information, and the Nokia Money (India only) mobile banking platform. The Nokia 101 will be available in the third quarter of 2011 for about EUR25 (US$35) and the Nokia 100 will be available in the fourth quarter for about EUR20 (US$30).
