LG unveiled two new Android smartphones. LG Optimus 2X, also known as the Optimus Star, runs Nvidia’s Tegra 2 chipset with a dual-core 1GHz application processor and an 4-inch HD screen. It will run Android 2.2 (Froyo) and launches in Korea next month. Optimus Black has  “a dramatically brighter 4-inch Nova display.” It weighs just 109 grams and is only 9.2 mm thick. It will also support Android 2.2 (Froyo) and will be available in the first half of 2011.
