Indian telecoms infrastructure company GTL is reportedly set to contact the market regulator after “speculative activity” by domestic investigators triggered a record crash in its stock, Bloomberg reports. One analyst noted that “there are significant concerns regarding GTL’s funding position.” GTL has acquired the towers of Aircel, and was set to buy infrastructure from Reliance Communications – a deal which subsequently fell through.
