Dow Jones Newswires reports that an administrative court in Cologne, Germany has rejected claims by E-Plus and O2 objecting to procedures in a planned auction of mobile phone frequencies, although the ruling permits a federal court appeal. The federal network agency will auction 800 MHz, 1.8 GHz, and 2.6 GHz frequencies on 12 April. Although E-Plus and O2 are entitled to bid for more of the 800 MHz blocks under the hammer, they had filed a complaint saying they are disadvantaged by the auction process.
