Microwave technology company DragonWave has altered its agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) for the acquisition of the latter’s microwave transport business, first agreed in November last year. The amended agreement has put the acquisition closing date back to 1 June, and means NSN’s microwave transport assets in Italy will not transfer to DragonWave. A statement from NSN noted: "The new arrangements reached by the parties envisage the supply of certain services by Nokia Siemens Networks to DragonWave, through a service agreement, under which R&D, product management and sales support services will be provided to DragonWave in order to enhance the ability of the latter to continue to deliver on critical customer deliveries."
