Tapjoy announced a partnership with South Korean social platform company Kakao, to enable developers for the Kakao Games platform to monetise their games using Tapjoy’s tools.

Kakao is the company behind the KakaoTalk mobile messenger app, which currently has more than 90 million users worldwide, of which more than 30 million visit the platform every day.

Kakao Games enables users to play games with contacts, share scores, and compete for the highest ranks on leaderboards.

“The partnership will help provide developers with a stable source of revenue, while heightening user’s game experience by providing new game items that can be earned through Tapjoy’s rewarded advertisements,” Kakao said in a statement.
