Rovio Entertainment debuted Angry Birds Space for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android, as well as PC and Mac versions. It is said to mark the first integrated launch from the company, with merchandise, animation and books available at retail at the same time as the game.

The game includes 60 levels, with “regular free updates in the pipeline.”

As previously, the company is using several different monetisation methods for the app. Angry Birds Space costs US$0.99 for the iPhone/iPod Touch, US$2.99 for the iPad, and is free of charge in the ad-funded Android version.

An ad-free Android variant will also be available, costing US$0.99 for smartphones, or US$2.99 for the tablet-focused HD version. In-app purchases will also be supported, starting with the iOS version.
