Mobile social gaming company PlayPhone said that its PlayPhone Social Gaming Network saw 400 percent growth in the first six months of 2012, including 12 million game sessions and 3.5 million gameplay hours in June alone. It said it expects to exceed 100 million registered users by the end of the year.

PlayPhone notes that by “strategically focusing” its efforts on North America, it is positioned to provide developers access to a “large, increasingly engaged gaming community across all mobile devices.” It also said it is “committed to continuously adding value” to its service, and is preparing to launch the next generation of its SDK.

The company is promising new features including increased game marketing tools for developers and a “revolutionary new UI.” Current features include cross-platform virtual goods inventory management, cloud-based gamer progress tracking, and advanced community features.

It is supported by platforms including Android, iOS, HTML5, Adobe AIR, Unity and Windows Phone.
