Nokia Siemens Networks said it had completed the sale of its fixed broadband access networks business, as it looks to reposition itself to best service its mobile operator customer base – it now describes itself as “the world’s specialist in mobile broadband.” The unit was sold to Adtran, a transaction first announced in December 2011.
