Transaction management software platforms provider Synchronoss Technologies has agreed to acquire privately-held provider of mobile content transfer and synchronisation technology, FusionOne. Synchronoss will pay US$40 million. Synchronoss may also pay up to an additional US$35 million in cash and stock based on FusionOne’s business achieving certain performance targets through 2011. Synchronoss expects the transaction to close during July.
