A UK consumer survey suggested that UK customers will “waste” almost £750m during 2010 on paid-for mobile applications which are not subsequently used. According to the poll, commissioned by MyVoucherCodes, 79% of respondents are “highly unlikely” to use applications they have paid to download more than once, after 27% of respondents said that the range of applications available for a particular smartphone was a key buying criteria.
