The Global World Awards this year were presented by UK TV personality Jonathan Ross. Apple, HTC and Angry Birds-maker Rovio were among the big winners, while achievements in green technology, M2M and mobile innovation were also recognised.  Welsh singing starlet Duffy and Canadian rockers Metric got things swinging at the evening celebration.
