PRESS RELEASE: Smart Axiata has deployed the world’s first FDD Tri-Mid-Band 8T network to serve its customer and deliver a better user experience.

The FDD Trip-Mid-Band 8T network is powered by Huawei’s industry-leading Ultra-Wideband technology, which doubles the capacity of traditional base stations. The deployment of the FDD Tri-Mid-Band 8T network has seen speed increase 2.5 times and boosted site traffic by approximately 30%. This new solution aims to address the growth of 4G traffic growth in high traffic density areas.
