Mobile games publisher Gamevil inked a deal with mobile role playing game (RPG) company KNetP, which gives it global publishing rights for existing and future titles from its new partner.

South Korea-based Gamevil said that the deal “solidifies” its “already extensive” RPG line-up, and “even further goes beyond short term cooperation and into the development and publishing of future titles, ensuring continued synergy and support between the two companies.”

In a statement, James Song, CEO of Gamevil, said: “We are very excited to invest in KNetP whose titles are numerous and well-received. And we're committed to ensuring continued success and beneficial synergy between our two companies.”

Earlier this year, Gamevil said it will invest US$10 million in creating partnerships with external developers, to bolster its smartphone games portfolio. The company also noted that since the end of 2010, it had agreed deals with “more than 10” partners for various investments and global publishing agreements.
