Shareholders in Danish number-one operator TDC have raised DKK5.6 billion (US$994 million) through a private-equity share sale, according to Bloomberg sources. Shares in the operator fell by the greatest amount for six months (5.4 percent) as the NTC Holding consortium sold about 128 million shares, or 15 percent of the company’s total, for DKK43.40 each. The sources said NTC Holding's stake in the operator is now 43.3 percent following the deal arranged by Morgan Stanley.
