Bloomberg reports that Sprint Nextel will end contract service for 86,000 Virgin Mobile USA customers on May 25 to refocus the brand on prepaid subscribers. The company, which bought Virgin Mobile in November, will offer the customers a US$50 credit toward purchasing a phone through its Sprint service.
