The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has ordered the blocking of 3.5 million SIM cards, after their owners failed to register with the network operators, Cellular-news reports. Operators will be able to bar cards in batches of up to 875,000 cards per week, and SIMs involved will still be able to call a customer service line, should the subscriber want to register and re-activate.
