Infrastructure vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has announced the appointment of Samih Elhage to the newly-created role of chief operating officer. The role has been created to lead the global operations organisation and the transformation of NSN’s mode of operations and business performance management. Elhage – who has previously worked for Nortel and was an adviser to a private equity and management consultancy company – becomes a member of the company’s executive board and reports to CEO Rajeev Suri.
