America Movil’s Claro is to invest US$249 million into its Argentinian operations during the remainder of 2012, reports Dow Jones Newswires. The investment will go into building 150 base stations in addition to the 300 already planned as part of a US$1 billion investment programme for 2011-2012. The Argentinian number-one is also aiming to connect 1,400 cell sites using fibre-optic cable.
