China Unicom will launch the iPhone 4S on 13 January with customers able to receive the 16GB version for free on a two year contract and the 32GB version if they take out a three-year contract, reports Telecompaper. Apple confirmed last week that it would launch the iPhone 4S in China, along with 21 other countries on 13 January. China Unicom is the only Chinese operator authorised to sell previous versions of the iPhone.
