Indonesia’s Bakrie Telecom (BTel) is planning to spend US$200 million this year on upgrading its network, with a planned investment of US$580 million over the next five years, reports Cellular News. The expenditure this year will focus on boosting voice and text services and mobile data capacity, Rakhmat Junaidi, BTel’s director of corporate services told local media.
