App monetisation company Tapjoy has joined forces with Kontagent, a user analytics firm, to launch a new service that offers app data in near real-time to developers, publishers and advertisers.

The new service, which is called the Kontagent Partner Edition, is intended to give Tapjoy’s client base of developers, publishers and advertisers greater insight into how apps perform. It is available exclusively from Tapjoy.

The release follows the announcement of a partnership between the two companies in July this year. The aim of their partnership is to offer Tapjoy’s clients a better understanding of how they can make the most of user acquisition campaigns and maximise efforts at monetisation.

Describing the launch of the new product, Jeff Tseng, Kontagent’s CEO, said advertisers, publishers and developers of all sizes need access to in-app data “in order to understand how to present the right offer to the right user at the right time”.

For those developers not yet able to afford Kontagent’s full enterprise solution, the new partner edition offers a way to grow their businesses, he said.
