App promotion company Chartboost has added Gree, Booyah, Kabam and Crowdstar to its Kiosk programme, enabling third-party developers to increase their revenue by supporting ads from the social gaming companies.

Each “Kiosk” is a section on the Chartboost website where developers can apply to promote apps for one of the partner companies, and which then matches them to the most suitable ads.

"These Kiosks give mobile game developers an easy way to generate significant revenue by advertising other hit mobile games from developers who, between now and the holiday season, will have multiple million dollar advertising budgets," said Maria Alegre, Chartboost’s CEO.

Each new partner offers different ways in which developers can grow their revenue by advertising their games. Kabam will let developers earn up to US$30,000 through promoting its games, while Gree will offer a cost per install (CPI) of US$1.25 to US$3.50 depending on the platform, device and game.

Crowdstar is offering up to US$50,000 to each of the top 20 developers that promote its games based on the number of installs they drive to Crowdstar games, while Booyah will offer up to US$2 per install of its No Zombies Allowed or MyTown 2 games.

Chartboost aims to help developers generate revenue without needing to use a traditional ad network. The Kiosk programme was launched in March with Pocket Gems and with TinyCo becoming partners in July.
