Appcelerator adds Crittercism monitoring to Titanium platform

Appcelerator and Crittercism target enterprise developers

28 JAN 2013

Developer tools company Appcelerator and app monitoring company Crittercism teamed up to create a mobile app development and app performance platform targeting enterprises.

The integration of Crittercism’s technology with Appcelerator’s Titanium 3.0 development platform gives developers “a real-time global view of performance” for iOS, Android and HTML5-based apps built on Appcelerators’s platform.

Enterprises will be able to obtain details of crash data, identify code causing performance issues and determine the steps users take that lead to a problem.

Benefits for Appcelerator’s 1,400 enterprise customers include faster time to market for new versions of apps, the ability to deliver high-performing apps and solving performance issues more quickly.

“By combining Appcelerator’s Titanium 3.0 with Crittercism’s Mobile APM, enterprises can now understand user adoption challenges by quickly identifying and addressing performance problems when and if they occur,” said Appcelerator CEO Jeff Haynie.
