Belarusian mobile operator BeST, which trades under the banner life:), has launched the country’s first 3G HSPA network, notes TeleGeography. The network is available to residents in the capital Minsk and other major cities and is looking to provide coverage to 70 percent of Belarus’ population by the end of this year. According to Wireless Intelligence, BeST is the country’s third-largest operator with almost 730,000 subscribers.
