Indosat nears deal to offload 4,000 towers
Indonesia-based Indosat Ooredoo was reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sell 4,000 towers to Digital Colony for more than $700 million, as the loss-making operator looks to raise funds for network expansion, Bloomberg reported.
Indosat losses widen on one-off expenses
Indonesia operator Indosat Ooredoo recorded brisk revenue growth in the first quarter of 2020 on the back of ARPU and subscriber gains, but suffered a wider loss due to one-off severance charges. Net loss more than doubled year-on-year to IDR605.
