Fitness app maker acquired by Asics

Ascis Corporation, a Japanese athletic equipment company, is set to acquire FitnessKeeper, maker of a fitness app called Runkeeper, “to build a new kind of fitness brand that has a deeper, more trusted relationship with consumers and can engage with them in a more personalised way.”
