Justin Springham - Editorial Director
Justin manages the editorial content for the Mobile World Live series and Mobile World Live TV. In the last few years Justin has launched and grown a portfolio of premier media products, which include the Mobile World Congress Show Dailies, the daily e-newsletter Mobile Business Briefing and Mobile Apps Briefing service. He started his career in telecoms journalism in 1999 as deputy editor of Mobile Europe. Since then he has launched and edited numerous telecoms publications, most recently serving as senior European editor of Unstrung (now Light Reading Mobile). Justin has a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism from the University of Sheffield.
Jacquie Luscombe - Executive Producer
Jacquie Luscombe produces extraordinary audience experiences through live events, television broadcasts, video and web. Her creativity and leadership skills have made her one of the most sought-after production professionals in Canada, with a client roster that includes Microsoft, Pfizer Canada, KPMG, and other members of North America’s corporate elite.
In recent years Jacquie’s talents have led her overseas and around the world. She is currently the Executive Producer for Mobile World Live and Mobile World Live TV which broadcasts live from Mobile World Congress.
Jacquie began her career as a television producer, but later transitioned into corporate video and corporate events, earning a role as a team leader at ICE (Integrated Communications and Entertainment), then Canada’s largest full-service communication agency. More than two decades later, she continues to thrive under deadlines and production pressures that would shatter an ordinary mortal.
Jacquie is currently chasing Air Canada’s coveted Super Elite status, and can likely be found on a plane at this very moment.
Trevor Skinner - Digital Director
Trevor has worked for the GSMA for 12 years and has over 20 years' experience within the marketing and communications sector. He started at GSMA as ‘webmaster' designing and developing all online materials and also handling all company related I.T. matters. Now as Digital Director, his role includes responsibility for the definition and technical direction of the Mobile World Live products, including webinars, live streaming events and mobile applications.
Trevor's responsibilities also include management of external partnerships for the development of MWL.
Trevor is a qualified Electronics Engineer to BEng (Hons) degree.

Matt Ablott - Senior Editor
Matt is part of Mobile World Live’s media team and an analyst at the Wireless Intelligence research firm. He has served many years in business and technology journalism, including roles at Mobile Communications Europe, Telecoms Markets and Electronic Payments International. A specialist in mobile communications technology, Matt writes for the Mobile Business Briefing and the Mobile Apps Briefing online news services and is a contributor and senior editor on Mobile World Live and Mobile World Live TV.
Mark Smith - Editor-at-Large
Mark has more than 15 years experience in marketing, corporate communications and public relations in the telecommunications sector. Having worked for the GSMA since 1995, he founded the Global Mobile Awards - now in their 16th year - and is also a Marketing Director at the GSMA, responsible for media & entertainment initiatives. He is the Editor-at-Large for Mobile World Live and Mobile World Live TV.
Richard Handford – Content Editor
Richard is the Editor of Mobile Money Live and Mobile Health Live. He is an experienced technology and business journalist who previously worked as a freelancer for many publications over the last decade including The Economist, Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. Previously, he edited two telecoms newsletters for the Financial Times: Telecoms Markets and Mobile Communications.
Rudolph Moncrieff – Manager, Digital Content & Keynotes
Rudolph joined the GSMA in January 2007 working for the conference development team, and continues to lead on the development and delivery of the keynote programme for the industry leading Mobile World Congress and Mobile Asia Congress events. He’s also responsible for the Mobile World Live webinar programme, as well as contributing to the Mobile World Live TV schedule. Rudolph holds a joint honours degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Aberdeen.
Steve Costello – Content Editor
Steve works across all of Mobile World Live's media properties, including Mobile Business Briefing and Mobile Apps Briefing. He has been a journalist and editor specialising in the telecoms industry since 1996. Steve has worked for a number of publications in staff and freelance roles, most recently working with market intelligence provider Market Mettle covering topics including smartphones, mobile value added services and operator strategy. He has also held staff positions with Financial Times Media & Telecoms, CMP Europe, ComputerWire and CI Works.
Tim Ferguson – Content Editor
Tim joined Mobile World Live last year. He comes to the GSMA with five years of tech journalism experience, having started his career as a reporter with business tech publication silicon.com in 2006. While at silicon.com he covered software and web and moved to the GSMA in August '11. Tim has a BA (Hons) in History from Durham University and an MA (distinction) in Specialist Journalism from Coventry University.
