Dubbed the “agent of disruption” by Forbes, Sean Parker has undoubtedly fuelled some of the most disruptive companies of the last decade. After altering the music industry forever with music-sharing site Napster he went on to help pioneer the concept of digital propagation with his address book service Plaxo. At 24 he became founding president of Facebook. Now, still just 31 years-old with an estimated fortune of US$2.1 billion, he is helping to ‘fix’ the music industry by investing in music streaming service Spotify. In the run up to last week’s Facebook/Spotify partnership Mobile World Live spent time with the enigmatic entrepreneur.
