The mobile network industry is now several years into the development and deployment of virtualized radio access networks (vRANs). With live networks in operation and trials ongoing, vRAN technology has been shown to work effectively on a commercial scale worldwide. To better understand the outlook for vRAN and open RAN adoption worldwide, Heavy Reading jointly developed with QCT an online custom survey designed to take the pulse on operator expectations for open vRAN deployment.
