The ongoing legal saga concerning Telenor's shareholding in Russia's VimpelCom has taken another twist this week following an announcement by the Russian bailiffs that they intend to start selling-off the shares.

Telenor has said it will not begin settlement talks with Russia's Alfa Group until a related lawsuit brought against it by Farimex Products is dropped, a spokeswoman for the Norwegian group told The Moscow Times today.

Telenor has signed a deal with Huawei Technologies for the provision of LTE radio access and evolved packet core equipment, reports Telegeography.
