Asus unveiled it latest smartphones, the flagship compact-designed ZenFone 8 (pictured) and ZenFone 8 Flip, pushing high-end features at affordable price ranges compared with larger rivals.

Asus unveiled a number of mobile and connected products targeting the North American market at CES 2018, including a smartphone and its mixed reality (MR) headset.

Asus’ mobile unit had a tough Q2 as it shifted attention to its new ZenFone 3 line, as it also “adjusted” its tablet business to meet weakening demand in this segment.

Asus unveiled the latest products in its ZenFone line, unveiling three devices including premium and phablet smartphones. ZenFone 3 ZenFone 3 was described by the vendor as a “feature-packed smartphone that brings premium design and empowering performance to everyone”.

Taiwan’s Asus aims to boost smartphone shipments this year 46 per cent to 30 million units and break into the global top-ten ranking, with Southeast Asia accounting for a third of sales, DigiTimes reported.
