W3C publishes mobile web app guidelines

International web standards body the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) announced “best practice” guidelines for developing mobile web apps, stating that the document “offers practical advice from many mobile web stakeholders for the easy development and deployment of mobile web applications that work across many platforms.”
