Telenor launches Unified Communications

After running trials within its own head office for the past few years, Norway’s Telenor says that it is now ready to launch a commercial Unified Communications (UC) service. A total of 30,000 Telenor employees currently use Unified Communications services.

Court adjourns Telenor’s US1.7B damages appeal

A Siberian court today adjourned a hearing in Telenor’s appeal against US$1.7 billion in damages it had been ordered to pay to Russia’s Vimpelcom. The hearing will resume on 24 March 2010.
