Sweden names 800MHz spectrum winners
Sweden’s telecoms regulator announced the result of the country’s 800MHz spectrum auction, with licences awarded to 3 Sweden (Hi3G Access), TeliaSonera, and Net4Mobility (a joint venture of Tele2 and Telenor). The auction raised SEK2.05 billion (EUR233 million) in total.
PTS, the Swedish telecoms regulator, announced an auction for 800MHz spectrum, which is expected to start on 28 February 2011.
