Microsoft recovers Sidekick data

The BBC reports that Microsoft says it has now recovered the personal data lost when its Sidekick servers suffered an outage on 13 October.

T-Mobile suspends Sidekick sales

US operator T-Mobile has halted sales of the Sidekick device after a server caused customers to lose personal data, reports the BBC. Microsoft subsidiary Danger, which designed Sidekick’s software and service, confirmed the disruption.
