Israeli 4G network-sharing faces block – report
A proposed 4G network-sharing deal between three of Israel’s leading operators – Pelephone, Cellcom and Golan Telecom – is unlikely to be approved by the country’s antitrust regulator, according to Globes.
Hutchison makes Partner buy
Hutchison Whampoa is to buy 50 percent of Scailex Corporation, a company which owns a 44. 5 percent stake in Israeli operator Partner Communications, with Hutchison’s chairman Li Ka-shing also acquiring a 25 percent stake in Scailex through his other companies.
