RIM reports surge in Q3 earnings and revenue
BlackBerry maker RIM has reported huge year-on-year increases in third quarter profit and revenue as the vendor’s efforts to move further into the consumer space appear to be paying off. Revenue for the three months ended November 28, 2009, was up 41 percent, whilst net income rose 59 percent year-on-year.
BlackBerry comes to China Mobiles ZONG
ZONG, China Mobile’s international arm, BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion and kit vendor Alcatel-Lucent have joined forces to launch a BlackBerry solution in Pakistan.

Verizon reveals Storm2 details
Verizon Wireless announced today it is to sell RIM’s BlackBerry Storm2 (pictured) from 28 October. It will retail for US$179.99 after a US$100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement on a voice plan with an Email and Web feature or an Email and Web for BlackBerry plan.
