ARM Holdings has reported net profit up 71 percent to £29.7 million in its fourth-quarter results, from £17.3 million in the same period a year earlier. Revenues rose 34 percent to £113.9 million, up from £85.2 million, against analyst expectations of £104.5 million. The company said the strong Q4 results was the result of signing 35 processor licences for a range of devices including smartphones, tablets, servers and smartcards. The former two categories were particularly responsible for its performance.
