Huawei today announced deployment of a packet-based mobile backhaul network supporting TD-SCDMA technology for China Mobile in Zhejiang, which it claims is the world's first to comply with the IEEE 1588v2 standard allowing the operator to eventually upgrade the network to LTE technology.
