PC World reports that Sprint Nextel is preparing to join AT&T and possibly Verizon Wireless in offering a femtocell that delivers 3G data speeds. Sprint, the third-largest carrier in the country, is getting ready to sell a new, faster version of its Airave device, according to documents filed with the US Federal Communications Commission.
