Sir Richard Branson has pocketed US$250 million (£152 million) from the sale of Virgin Mobile USA to Sprint Nextel, reports Times Online. The deal means that the billionaire entrepreneur has now left the North American mobile market, having made a profit of more than US$325 million. His Virgin Group sold its holding in Virgin Mobile Canada two months ago for US$175 million.
