T-Mobile Poland said it has 5,500 subscribers to its NFC-based mobile wallet service.

The operator launched its service, which is called MyWallet, in late October and the subscriber numbers relate to early January, according to a report on Rpkom.pl.

The operator has added Getin Bank and Noble Bank to its list of banking partners. Previously, the service was only accessible to customers of mBank. T-Mobile is also working with MasterCard.

T-Mobile’s is not the only NFC service in the country. Its rivals include Orange, which launched its own mobile wallet service at the start of November. Like T-Mobile, Orange launched with mBank and MasterCard.
