Nearly three-quarters of the respondents in our online poll point to the number of retail partners as the most attractive feature for users in a mobile wallet. Seventy one per cent said the number of outlets where a wallet is accepted is the key draw for consumers. By comparison, a much smaller number saw the integration of coupon redemption and/or the earnings of points as most attractive (14 percent). A similar proportion said the presence of the wallet on a wide range of NFC handsets was key to success. Finally, a negligible number of respondents said the range of credit or debit cards in a wallet was central to a wallet’s attraction.
