A new feature video from Mobile Health Live reveals a list of the most important factors that any mobile operator should consider before launching a mhealth service.  Some interviewees zero in on the most basic question that an operator will ask themselves before committing to a new service. And that question can vary between the developing and developed worlds. Interviewees include Mohammed Chowdhury of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Asia Pacific healthcare practice (pictured). Others focus on what is the essential research that an entrant to the mobile health market needs to conduct ahead of launch. Another view is that it is the details that can trip up an operator if they are not right.

Some interviewees point to devices, prices or the standards debate (open vs proprietary) as most important. Finally operators need to have a clear idea of where they want to go in the future with any new service. Interviewees in this video come from PricewaterhouseCoopers, UNICEF, Discovery Health, Forward Innovation, Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation and NetHope. View the feature video here.
