A new feature video from Mobile Money Live reveals how mobile operators can develop a thriving network of agents to sell their mobile money services. The video is based on interviews with experts who relate their own experiences in creating and then successfully maintaining a system of agents. Interviewees include Zahir Khoja, Roshan's Executive Director of Mobile Money (pictured).

The most basic consideration when setting up a network is financial, say interviewees, since agents have to be trusted by consumers with their cash. Next up is the right kind of training for the new representatives so they act as a sales team for an operator’s service.

The interviewees also reveal how to nurture agents so they stay loyal and develop expertise in marketing the operator’s service.
