The Bangkok Post reports that ZTE has withdrawn a court case seeking to block the award of a network infrastructure contract by operator TOT, although Ericsson is still believed to be pursuing an action. Four bidders were initially shortlisted, with ZTE then disqualified for providing “unrealistic financial calculations” and Ericsson dropped for “absence of catalogues for antenna-related products in its submitted bid.” The contract was won by a consortium of Samart Telecom and Loxley, which is also believed to be supported by Huawei and NSN.
