ZTE is to build UMTS networks for Skytel in Mongolia and Spice Nepal, according to Telecompaper. ZTE will provide Skytel with its Soft Defined Radio system to enable HSPA-based services and support the evolution to LTE. In Nepal, ZTE will help construct a GSM/UMTS network to cover six main zones. The first phase of deployment will be completed by November.
